VRDogs – Ways to Treat Anxiety Disorders with Immersive Simulations
There are many ways to represent virtual realities. But it is not known what the best way is to create virtual realities for psychotherapy.
In this project, dogs can be experienced in 3 different simulation methods – audio, video and computer-generated VR. By displaying different behaviours, the dogs induce joy or fear and thus can aid in the treatment of anxiety disorders such as the fear of dogs. The effects of the simulation methods can then be compared.
